Exit Laughing is a comedic play intended for mature audiences. The play, written by Paul Elliott, revolves around the lives of three women: Connie, Leona, and Millie, who have been friends for decades. Their weekly bridge game takes an unexpected turn when their fourth member, Mary, passes away. They decide to have one last bridge game to honor their dear friend. Chaos ensues as the women navigate an unconventional farewell, leading to hilarious and heartwarming moments. They encounter various challenges, including a run-in with the law, but through laughter and tears, they rediscover the value of friendship and the importance of living life to the fullest. The play beautifully balances humor with touching reflections on love, loss, and the enduring bonds that sustain us through life's difficulties.

Five of Main Street’s favorite actors return for this side-splitting comedy. Karen Beyer plays the role of Millie, Jill Shedd-Connie, Kim Cooper-Leona, Elise Wright-Rachel Ann, and Cameron Adams-Policeman/Bobby. BJ Hughes, MSP Scenic Designer, will build the set and direct the production. Franky Dansby serves as head carpenter and Norma Richardson, MSP Artistic Director, will costume the performers. Nate Barnes will provide lighting, and Scott Welborn will design and execute the sound for this performance. Keith Potter serves as stage manager and Janice Aiken is a production assistant.
