Moon Over Buffalo

This madcap farce follows aging Broadway stars George and Charlotte Hay as they tour a small theatre in Buffalo, New York, performing Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives. When they learn film Frank Capra might scout their matinee for a movie, personal chaos and mistaken identities threaten to ruin their big break.

This Tony-nominated nostalgic musical revue features five distinct historical and social figures who represent the cultural melting pot of turn-of-the-century America. It offers snapshots - tintypes, if you will - of America in its last Age of Innocence. It chronicles American history and national growth from 1890 to 1917 through popular period songs, ragtime music, and patriotic tunes.
